These terms govern your use of the TheSteelOS website and products — SteelOS Trade, Fabricate and Mill. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
TheSteelOS provides software for steel trading, fabrication and manufacturing operations, delivered over the internet. We are actively developing the product; some capabilities are offered as free or early-access releases and may change as they mature.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for the activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at hello@thesteelos.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to breach security or tenant isolation, disrupting the service, reverse-engineering it, or using it to store or transmit unlawful content. You must use the service in compliance with applicable law, including tax and trade regulations relevant to your business.
The business data you enter remains yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process it to provide the service to you. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own records as required by law; while we maintain backups, you should not rely on the service as your sole system of record during early access.
The TheSteelOS software, brand, design and content are owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not transfer any ownership in them to you; they grant a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service while your account is in good standing.
We work to keep the service available and correct, but during free and early-access periods it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we do not commit to a specific uptime. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheSteelOS is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or if needed to protect the service or other users. On termination you may request an export of your data within a reasonable window.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the courts having jurisdiction there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
